Hi fellow wrench spinners! Being an old time tunner I wanted to help with this whole "white spacer" thing. Each bike is very different, set up that is, and will respond differently. The bottom line is Spark Plug Color! We want a Dry, Gray-ish plug. This requires trial and error, I know, LOL. Use any pipe, air filter, gas, oil, jets etc, as long as the plug is dry, but not burnt. On my 86 I had to reduce my main jet size and keep the white spacer in place to keep from fouling plugs. The following has been offered in the spirit of all of us infinite tweekers, I won't stop till dead, LOL. G
